At Johnson Property Group, our business has always been built on long-term relationships. Many of our team have been with us for years, and over time colleagues become friends and extended family. That’s why sponsoring Danny Coleman means a lot to us.
Danny is the son of our Group Manager Jacinta Coleman, who has been part of the JPG team for more than 15 years. In that time, many of us have watched Danny grow up, from a young kid visiting the office to a disciplined young athlete with dreams of one day representing Australia for boxing at the Olympics.
Being able to support this exceptional young man on his journey is something we’re very proud of.
Danny has been competing in amateur boxing since October 2024 and has already achieved remarkable success.
In early 2025, he won two State Titles in his weight and age division and then backed it up with a win in his first appearance at the School Age National Championships in Darwin. Competing in the Under 15 60kg division, he brought home gold and earned the title of Australian Champion!
JPG’s sponsorship helps Danny with airfares for interstate competitions and essential equipment such as boots and gloves, giving him the opportunity to compete at a higher level.
Behind these achievements is an extraordinary level of commitment. Danny trains five days a week after school and on weekends and runs around 20km each week before school to maintain his fitness and endurance.
Looking ahead, Danny’s competition calendar runs from February through to December. He is currently working towards selection in the WA team again, now moving up to the Under 17 division, with national competition in Canberra this June. He also hoping to travel to the USA later this year for a training camp, all in preparation for his long-term goal of representing Australia at the Brisbane 2032 Olympics.
